Robert Lee Johnson was born May 16, 1948 to the late William and Althea Johnson, Sr. in Oneida, Arkansas. He transitioned from this earthly life June 16, 2023 in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Robert accepted the Lord as his personal Savior at an early age at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, Barton Arkansas. He later moved his membership to The Church of the Living God Pillar Ground of Truth, West Helena Arkansas under the leadership of Pastor Mary Jenkins. He used his singing talent as a member of the B.L. Riley Male Choir and devoted his time to the church’s food pantry. He was a dutiful worker and remained faithful until his health began to decline.

April 16, 1971 was the date he joined in Holy Matrimony to Mary Elizabeth Brown Johnson. To this union of fifty-one years, six children blended as a family.

Robert was not a stranger to hard work. He was employed as a truck driver for many years. He also worked at Quincy Soy Company for thirty-two years, and Island of Capri Casino for two years until he officially entered his retirement.
