Visitation will be held Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church,1108 Pecan Street, Helena AR from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Funeral service will promptly be held at 2:00 p.m. at Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 1108 Pecan Street, Helena Arkansas. Interment will follow immediately at Jackson Memorial Cemetery, Lexa Arkansas. We will follow CDC guidelines: mask, hand sanitizer, and the social distance standard of 6ft apart.
Mrs. Jessie Mae Taylor began her earthly journey December 25, 1935. She made her transition to return home with her heavenly father June 6, 2023, at the St. Bernard Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
She began her earthly journey in Marianna, Arkansas to the late Roosevelt T. Stewart, Sr. and Mozella Stewart. She was the baby of the family.
One of her milestones in life was confessing her hope in Christ at in early age. She was a faithful member of the Zion Hill Church, under the leadership of Reverend Leroy Harper and was a proud member of the Mother’s Board until her health failed.
Jessie Mae was preceded in death by her parents: Roosevelt T. Stewart, Sr. and Mozella Stewart; her brothers and sisters: Roosevelt T. Stewart, Jr., Thelma Woods, Ora Lee Hames, R. T. Stewart, and Booker Stewart: her children: Maxine Parker, Helen Eggerson, Booker Taylor, Frank Taylor, Larry Taylor, Donald Lee Taylor, and Donna Lynn Taylor.
She leaves to cherish her memories: (2) sons and (1) daughter: Herman Taylor of Fort Worth TX, Patricia (Felton) Jones of Helena AR, and Orlando Taylor of Peach Tree GA, ten grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
