Visitation will be held Friday, August 19, 2022 at Jackson - Highley Funeral Home, West Helena Arkansas from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at P.L.M. & D. District Center, Helena Arkansas. Interment will follow immediately at First Baptist Cemetery, Elaine Arkansas. We will follow CDC guidelines:  mask, hand sanitizer, and the social distance standard of 6ft apart. Mrs. Hayes's service may be viewed live through ZOOM. Beverly Lynette Brown Hayes was born April 22, 1971 to the late Thomas Brown, Sr. and Ruthie Brown in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. She departed this earthly life August 9, 2022 in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Beverly established a relationship with Christ at an early age. She united with First Baptist Church, Elaine Arkansas under the leadership of Reverend F. A. Simpson. She later joined Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Artis James where she remained faithful until she relocated to Jonesboro Arkansas.

Beverly received her formal education within the Elaine School District. She was a proud graduate of Elaine High School Class of 1989. She furthered her education at Phillips County Community College, Helena Arkansas, where she received an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Development.  Throughout the years she worked in various capacities within the childcare industry.

Beverly was united in Holy Matrimony to James W. Hayes. To this union no children were born but a family was blended.

Beverly is preceded in death by her father; Thomas W. Brown, Sr., maternal grandparents; John and Ruthie Marshall, paternal grandparents; Sidney and Sarah Brown, and a brother-in-law; Vincent Wade.

Beverly leaves to cherish her memory her husband; James W. Hayes of Jonesboro AR, two daughters; Kaishadd Brown of Pine Bluff AR, Brekarre Otey of Jonesboro AR, one son; Alazeon Otey of Jonesboro AR, her mother; Ruthie Brown of Elaine AR, mother-in-law; Barbara Hayes of Helena AR, three sisters; Donna Smith of Pine Bluff AR, Cassandra Wade of Elaine AR, Latunga Brown of Pine Bluff AR, four brothers; Dallas Smith, Sr. of Pine Bluff AR, Danny Sanders, Sr. of Little Rock AR, Thomas Brown, Jr. of Elaine AR, Nolan (Alisha) Watson of Little Rock AR, six grandchildren; Elijah Sloan, Ky’onna Brown, Marvie’a Broom, Tyriq Calvin, Jr., Tylen Calvin, Kinsley Calvin, one Godson; Jakievion Jackson, and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, friends and her Pilgrim Rest Church family.
