Bessola Robinson

Bessola Robinson was born to the union of Thomas and Sarah Campbell in Helena, Arkansas. She received her formal education at Eliza Miller School. Bessola accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age and joined Beautiful Zion Missionary Baptist Church in 1952 under the leadership of Rev. J.W. Webb. She was a very active member at Beautiful Zion. She served on the Usher Board, Trustee Board, Kitchen Committee, Sisterhood, Bible Class, and Sunday School. Bessola worked for over 50 years at Holiday Inn as a Supervisor. In later years, she was employed at Isle of Capri until retirement. Bessola departed this earthly June 17, 2018 in West Helena, Arkansas. She is preceded in death by her husband; James Robinson, son; Ruben Campbell, parents; Thomas and Sarah Campbell and sisters; Vergie and Lucy. Bessola leaves to cherish her memories, her loving children, daughter; Karen McKinzie of Milwaukee WI, son; Cliff Robinson of West Helena AR, step daughter; Maxine (Willie) Jones of Chicago IL, a very special granddaughter; Tameka (Michael) McKinzie – Nash of Milwaukee WI, a sister; Alberta Burks of Milwaukee WI, sister-in-law; Marie (Perry) Crockett of Helena AR, God daughter; Jacqueline Milligan of West Helena AR, fifteen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren, fourteen great great grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, family and friends.
