Visitation will be held Saturday, December 28, 2019 at Jackson – Highley Funeral Home Chapel, West Helena, Arkansas from 10:00 to 11:00. Funeral service will promptly start at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 28, 2019 at Jackson – Highley Funeral Home Chapel, West Helena, Arkansas. Reverend Reggie Rose will officiate. Interment will follow immediately at New Zion Cemetery, West Helena.

Moses Austin was born July 16, 1948 to the late Willie and Charline Austin. He confessed his hope in Christ at an early age and was baptized at the St. Mary #1 under the pastor ship of Rev. Perkins.
Moses was a loving and kind-hearted individual who enjoyed checking on family and friends. He was an outgoing person that had a special desire to mow yards. He extended help to those in need of his assistance whenever the opportunity prevailed.

Moses Austin a devoted son, father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend departed this earthly life on Friday, December 20, 2019 surrounded by his loving family at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Moses is preceded in death by his parents; Willie and Charline Austin, his daughter; Rena Austin, twin sister; Mozella Austin, sisters; Thelma Wilkerson, Susan Austin, brothers; James Austin and William Austin.
He leaves to cherish his memories his sons; Moses Austin, Jr., Michael Austin, daughters; Shelia Austin, Pam Austin, his brothers; George Austin, Charles Austin, his sisters; Ida Austin, Yvonne Austin; Maxine Austin, and a host of grandchildren, great – grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
