Visitation will be held Saturday, November 30, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the P.L.M & D. District Center. Funeral service will promptly start at 2:00 p.m. P.L.M. & D. District Center, Helena Crossing, Helena, Arkansas at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow immediately at Jackson Memorial Cemetery, Lexa Arkansas.

Wilson McKinney entered this earthly life April 9, 1952 to the late S.A. McKinney and Elnora Goldsberry McKinney in Helena, Arkansas. He was the sixth child born to this union. He entered unto eternal rest November 17, 2019 at this home, surrounded by his loving family.

Wilson accepted Christ as his personal Savior at an early age at Wofford Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, West Helena Arkansas under the leadership of Reverend Simes.

Wilson received his formal education within the Helena – West Helena School District, Helena – West Helena Arkansas. He later served his country in the United States Army receiving an Honorable Discharge.

After returning to the Helena – West Helena Community, Wilson was employed at Chicago Mill for several years. Later, Hill and Hill was his employer. He had a passion for mechanical engineering and a love for working with his hands. He had various interest and hobbies to include gardening, hunting, and fishing. His most satisfying moments was loving and spending time with his family.

Wilson is preceded in death by his parents, a brother; F.A. McKinney, seven uncles, and five aunts.

Wilson “Bam”-“Manson” McKinney leaves to cherish his memories a wife; Flora McKinney, eight children; Kinney Ray (Yulonda) Burns, Matthew Harvey, Wilson (Yolanda) McKinney, Jr., Kimberly McKinney, Florida (Calvin) Burnside, Luther Hayes, Keith Hayes, Courtney (Takeisha) McKinney two stepchildren; Tiwonda, Dewayne (Kara), eleven siblings; Josiephene McKinney, Elnora (Herbert) Bilsberry, Wilma (David) Brimley, Florida Mae McKinney, Estella Louise (Wayne) Grissom, Anthony Lawrence, Ronnie L. (Lois) McKinney, Sharon L. Jackson, Aaron Todd (Kimberly) McKinney, Calvin McKinney, Carol D. (Daryell) Jones, two aunts; Charlotte Roberson, Ora Goldsberry, sixteen grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
