Visitation will be held Friday, January 12, 2018 at Jackson – Highley Funeral Home Chapel, West Helena AR from 1 – 6 p.m. Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 13, 2018 at the P.L.M. and D. District Center, Helena AR at 11:00. Interment will follow immediately at First Baptist Church Cemetery, Elaine AR.
Diane Brown was born September 24, 1955 to the late Henry and Mary Neal in Elaine, Arkansas.
Diane attended and graduated from Elaine High School in 1975. She worked at Crest Park Nursing Home for many years and later at Omega Care until her health failed. She enjoyed working and helping people. She also loved cooking and spending time with family and friends.
She departed this earthly life, surrounded by her loving family January 10, 2018 at her home in Lexa, Arkansas. She is preceded in death by her father and mother, one brother; Henry, Jr.
Diane leaves to cherish her memories a devoted husband; Arvester Brown, six sisters; Shirley Banks, Maria (Bobby) Cannon both of Southaven MS, Linette (Wayne) Newsom of Memphis TN, Leavern Fogle of Little Rock AR, Julia Neal of Memphis TN, Linda (Charlie) Smith of Barton AR, two brothers; Carl (Allie) of Milwaukee WI and Clarence (Joyce) of Pine Bluff AR, three sister-in-laws; Mary Ester Brown and Rose Mary Brown both of Elaine AR, Rose Neal of Milwaukee WI, two brother-in-laws; Marellus (Helen) Brown of Maywood IL, Roy Brown of Bellwood IL, two aunts; Melvina Neal of West Helena AR and Sidney Link of Fort Wayne IN, one uncle; Joe Link of Fort Wayne IN and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
