Visitation will be held Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Second Baptist Church, West Helena AR from 1 – 2 p.m. Funeral Service will follow immediately at 2:00 p.m. at Second Baptist Church, West Helena AR. Interment will be at Jackson Memorial Cemetery, Lexa AR.
Willie A. Hargrow was born February 27, 1951 in Forrest City, Arkansas to the late Ira Hargrow and Alberta Hollowell.
Willie received her formal education in the Helena – West Helena School District.
Willie accepted Christ as her personal Savior at an early age at First Missionary Baptist Church, West Helena Arkansas under the leadership of Reverend H.Y. Ward. She later joined the Second Baptist Church, West Helena Arkansas under the leadership of Reverend Jarvis Smith, where she remained faithful until the Lord called her home.
Willie was a kind, warm, and loving person that would open her doors to anyone that was in need. She enjoyed cooking, spending time with family, and caring for her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
On May 28, 2019, she received her call from labor to reward at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Memphis Tennessee surrounded by her loving and devoted family.
Willie is preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, and five sisters.
Willie leaves to cherish her memories three daughters; Judy Fitzgerald, Sherry (Cartilyou) Witherspoon, Tameka (Moses) Steele all of West Helena AR, eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, one brother Algie Neebo (Charlene) Hollowell of Cleveland OH and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
