Lottie Beatrice Massey – Smith was born April 3, 1931 to Chessie and Lillie Massey in Lee County, Arkansas. Lottie confessed a hope in Christ at an early age at Old Zion Church, Marianna Arkansas. She later married Brother Willie Smith, Sr. on December 15, 1956. They were blessed with a 52-year marriage and to this union ten children were born.
She was preceded in death by her mother, father, five brothers, three sisters, her husband; Willie Smith, Sr., and two children; Lacy Wells and Connie Briggs.
She leaves to cherish her memories her children; Thelma Washington, Velma (Walter) Taylor, Lee Alvin Smith, Willie Smith Jr., Delois Smith, Mary Garrett, Carolyn Smith all of Marianna AR, Essie Smith, Lawrence Smith both of Fayetteville AR, Vernon Smith of Nashville TN, one stepdaughter; Lenora Jones of Buffalo NY, one stepson; Alvin Hicks of Houston TX, two brothers; Chessie Massey, Jr., Thelma Massey both of Marianna AR, one brother in law; Charlie (Cleatrice) Smith, two Godsons; Hardy Williams, Eddie Daniels, 34 grandchildren, 56 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren and a host on nieces, nephews, cousins, and treasured friends. Two very special friends; Merlene Cheers and her caregiver; Sandra Jackson.
