Napoleon Henderson was born July 1, 1953, and peacefully departed this life June 19, 2026. He was a resident of Indianapolis, Indiana.

Napoleon was a man who brought joy wherever he went. He loved spending time with his family, dancing, and celebrating life with the people he loved most. Known as the family comedian, he had a special gift for making everyone laugh and could always brighten the room with his humor and infectious personality. His love for family gatherings and creating lasting memories will forever be cherished.

He attended C.V. White High School in Lakeview, Arkansas. Napoleon worked in sanitation in Millington, Tennessee before transitioning into the construction industry, where he dedicated many years of his life before retiring. He took pride in his work and was respected for his strong work ethic.

Napoleon leaves to cherish his memory his beloved sons; Kenny Henderson of Memphis TN, Ronald Henderson of Indianapolis IN, his brother and sister-in-law; Donald (Wanda) Henderson of Indianapolis IN, his sister; Frances Edmond of Muncie IN, 17 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his loving parents; Ruthie Mae and Verdell Henderson, Sr., his sister; Mary Lee Hilson, and his brothers; Henry Wallace, James Flemming, Verdell Henderson, Jr., Robert Lee Henderson, and Vincent Henderson.

Though Napoleon is no longer with us in person, his laughter, love, and unforgettable spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
