Visitation will be held Friday, July 10, 2026 at Jackson - Highley Funeral Home Chapel, 126 Panama Road, West Helena Arkansas from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held Saturday, July 11, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Upper Room Pentecostal COGIC, West Helena, Arkansas. Interment will follow immediately at Jackson Memorial Cemetery, Lexa Arkansas.
Patricia Ann Brewer Bell was born September 3, 1955, in Lakeview, Arkansas to Alex Brewer, Sr. and Opal Rozell Brewer. She was the sixth of fourteen children. Patricia attended Southside Elementary in Helena, Arkansas, Eliza Miller Jr. High, and graduated from Central High School in West Helena. She furthered her education by attending Branell College in Memphis, Tennessee.
Patricia moved to Cleveland, Ohio with relatives for a short time and returned home to Arkansas to help with her younger siblings. She later relocated to Memphis, Tennessee and lived with Uncle Leroy and Aunt Esther, until she became established. From 1989 – 1999, she was married to Richard Bell.
In her free time, Patricia enjoyed working around her home, doing DIY projects and sewing. She loved to travel, when possible. She adored her family and would do anything she could for them.
Patricia developed a relationship with the Lord as a teenager at a tent revival that came to her hometown. She was a true woman of faith. Patricia was a faithful member of World Overcomers Outreach Ministry for years under the leadership of Apostle A.R. Williams. She later became a member of Anointed Faith Transformation Center (AFTC) led by Bishop Lee N. Salter and First Lady Teresa Salter. She valued her church family and delighted in worship services. One of her favorite songs was “Jesus, Jesus, Jesus” by Reverend Timothy Wright.
Patricia had a long work history. Her humble beginning was working in fast-food restaurants. She later worked for FedEx and Sedgwick Workers’ Compensation as a Claims Specialist until her health began to decline.
Patricia moved to Omaha, Nebraska in April 2023, to be close to family. While living there, she attended Greater St. Paul Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Bishop Joseph L. Shannon, Sr. and First Lady Helene Shannon. At the age of 70, Patricia passed away on Friday, June 19, 2026, at the Josie Harper Hospice House.
Patricia was preceded in death by her son; Kezarius De’Monte Jackson, parents; Alex, Sr., and Opal Brewer, sister; Maxine Brewer Riley, and half-sister; Betty Jean.
Patricia leaves to cherish her memory her siblings; Shirley, Dexter, Blanche, Bobby, Lynn (Liz), Tracy, Rhonda (David) all of Omaha NE, Arlisha of West Helena AR, Kent, Sr. (BeBe) of Marion AR, Alex, Jr. (Sandra), Jesse, Sr., Shannon, Sr. (Gayle) all of Houston TX, special friends; Elder Debra Dawson, Vanessa Harris, Shelia Williams, Betty Woods Wright, Linda Hall, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
