Visitation will be held Friday, March 13, 2026 at Jackson - Highley Funeral Home, 126 Panama Road, West Helena Arkansas from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, March 14, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Phillips, Lee, Monroe, and Desha District Center, Helena Crossing, Helena Arkansas. Interment will follow immediately at Salem Missionary Baptist Cemetery, Helena AR. Ms. Jones service may be viewed live through ZOOM.

Monica Jones was born on October 22, 1977 at Helena Regional Center to Billy Ray Jones, Sr. and Addie Elizabeth Ester, who raised her with love, strength, and unwavering support. From a young age, she displayed a vibrant spirit, a kind heart, and a natural ability to bring joy to those around her.
Whether it was her infectious laughter, her caring nature, or her ability to turn any moment into a cherished memory, she was gift to all who had the privilege of knowing her. She attended Lakeview School, where she excelled academically and built lifelong friendships. A hardworking and ambitious individual. She was dedicated and passionate about her job. She left a lasting impact on colleagues. She was deeply committed to her work, always striving to make a difference and leave a positive mark on the world.
Monica was woman of many passions. She found joy in spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed playing high school basketball, she loved music and loved her coffee. She embraced every experience with enthusiasm and love.
More than anything, Monica was devoted to her family and friends. She cherished her relationships and was a source of strength, laughter, and unwavering support to those who needed her. Her love for her father; Billy Ray Jones, Sr. of Helena, Arkansas; We children, grandchildren, parents, siblings, knew on bounds, and she took great pride in being a loyal mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, partner, and friend. She is survived by her children; Chikiyah Truitt of Lakeview AR, Jameya Simmons of Lexa AR, Malik Simmons of Bryant AR, Jada Simmons of Lakeview AR, siblings; Tina Jones of Sherwood AR, Edwina Young of Lakeview AR, Billy Jones, Jr. of Chicago IL, a special friend; Victor Wynne, ten grandchildren, and a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother; Addie Ester, grandsons; Draylen Simmons and Mahki Simmons, whom we take comfort in knowing welcomed her with open arms. Though the pain of her loss is overwhelming, we find solace in the memories she left behind.
Her spirit will live on in every shared story, every echo of laughter, and every act of love inspired by her example. We will forever carry her in our hearts.
