She also became a trained seminary instructor at Jacksonville Theological Seminary. She would always quote her favorite saying, “To God be the glory for ALL the great things that He has done.”
Evangelist Gibson retired after having a distinguished career from Phillips County Development Center (PCDC) located in Helena-West Helena, Arkansas, after 40 years of service. She left an indelible mark on people and thousands of students she taught and guided over the years. “She didn’t just teach curriculum; she taught the whole child.” This was a true testament of her dedication.
She loved spending time with her family, talking about the Lord, praying, cooking, traveling, listening to music, and watching football games with her husband. She was an avid football fan especially when her boys the “Kansas City Chiefs” were playing.
