The funeral services will be held at 12 o’clock Noon on Saturday December 22nd, 2018 at Springlake M.B. Church, 2518 Phillips Road 241, Lexa, Ark. Visitation will be held Friday, December 21, 2018 from 4-7 p.m. at Jackson-Highley Funeral Home, 126 Panama Road, West Helena, Ark. Burial will follow the service at the Spinglake Cemetery
William B. “Willie B.” Warren, the son of the late Okus and Verna B. Warren, was born on January 13, 1932 in LaGrange, Arkansas. At an early age, he professed his faith and hope in the Lord Jesus Christ and joined the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church where he was a devoted member.
He was united in Holy Matrimony to Lillie Mae Thomas-Robinson in June of 1969.
This union was blessed with one son. Mrs. Lillie Mae Warren preceded him in death.
He served in several capacities in the church. He was a member of the nationally recognized Pearly Gates and also was a part of The Warren Singers and other local gospel music groups.
Willie B. was a successful entrepreneur and business owner. Operating a logging company, trucking companies, and a small farm during the course of his life.
He had an extraordinarily generous spirit, kind heart, and an undeniable outgoing personality, where his influences will remain in the lives of all of those who knew him for years to come. He quietly departed this life on Sunday, December 9, 2018 in Concord, North Carolina.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Kaye, and grandson, Akerion Warren.
His wonderful life will forever be cherished in the lives of his children: David (Jawanna) of McKinney, Texas, Jean (Lawrence) Calvin, of Charlotte, North Carolina, Diann (Dwain) Harris of Concord, North Carolina, Newton B, Robinson, Jr., of Memphis, Tennessee, and Lita (Earl) Moore-Johnson of Barton, Arkansas, fourteen (14) grandchildren, sixteen (16 ) great grandchildren, and a host of devoted cousins, family members and longtime friends.
