There will not be a public visitation. Funeral service will be held Saturday, February 21, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Upper Room Pentecostal COGIC, West Helena, Arkansas. Interment will follow immediately at New Jerusalem Cemetery, Wabash Arkansas.

Benita Faye Allen was born June 5, 1965 in Elaine, Arkansas to Ara Montegue. She was baptized and joined New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, Wabash Arkansas at an early age under the leadership of the late Reverend Mansco Anderson. Benita later joined Sequell Missionary Baptist Church, Marvell Arkansas under the leadership of her husband, Reverend Christopher Allen.

Affectionately known as “Faye,” she graduated from C.V. White High School, Lakeview Arkansas Class of 1983. She later went on to pursue her education at Southern New Hampshire University, Hooksett New Hampshire.

Benita work within the Helena – West Helena School District and Kipp Delta Collegiate School for numerous years. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and traveling with husband.

Benita departed this earthly life, receiving her heavenly reward February 10, 2026 at St. Francis Hospital, Bartlett, Tennessee. She is preceded in death by her granddaughter; Alleneisha Henderson.

Faye leaves to cherish her memories her husband; Reverend Christopher Allen, children; Tiffany Adams, Jameelah (Sammie) Conley, Bryant Adams, Bradley Adams, Anterika Flowers, Reginald Adams, Danikko (Sandra) Adams, Dejanae (Demetrius) Morant, her mother; Ara Montague, mother-in-law; Marvella Thomas, siblings; Undraye Wilson, Reginald Wilson, Trent Wilson, Trina Wilson, Ronald Williams, Chanda Wilson, Carlos Wilson, Brandon Wilson, Ron (Brittany) Montague, Shanti Montague, Shantera Montegue, a special niece; Lakendra Jackson, twenty-five grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and a host of an uncle, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
