Visitation will be held Friday, February 13, 2026 at Jackson - Highley Funeral Home Chapel, 126 Panama Road, West Helena Arkansas from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 14, 2026 at Jackson - Highley Funeral Home Chapel, 126 Panama Road, West Helena Arkansas at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow immediately at Jackson Memorial Cemetery, Lexa Arkansas. Mr. Evans service may be viewed live through ZOOM. Willie B. Evans was born in Oneida, Arkansas on August 14, 1943 to the late Exel and Elnora Evans, Sr. He transitioned peacefully on January 24, 2026 at Crestpark Nursing Home, Helena, Arkansas.

Willie B. was introduced to Christ at an early age and accepted Christ under the leadership of the late Reverend P.C. Claiborne at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, Helena, Arkansas.

Willie B. graduated from Eliza Miller High School Class of 1966 in West Helena, Arkansas. During his high school years, he played basketball a sport he truly loved and enjoyed. After graduation, he worked for Helena Oil Mill for many years, then with Isle of Capri. Willie B. was a man of few words, but always wore a warm smile filled with laughter. He was known for his kindness and willingness to help anyone he encountered – young or old – always lending a helping hand. His kind deeds never went unnoticed.

Willie B. was preceded in death by his beloved parents; Exel and Elnora Evans, Sr., sister; Ann Evans, three brothers; Nathaniel, Eddie Lee, Walter Lee Evans, sister-in-love; Ramona Hancock Evans; three aunts; Hattie Ruth Reece, Catherine Rowan, Beverly Bailey, four uncles; Jerry Reece, Fred Taylor, Cassius Rowan, Larry Evans, Sr. and a nephew; Marcus Bailey.

Willie B.’s memories will forever be cherished by his loving family, his two daughters; Tina Evans, Stephanie Evans, nine grandchildren; Tyrig, Jasmine, Taylee, Tyler, Tyland, Akeem, Jacinth, Miracle, Shalanda, and thirteen great grandchildren. He’s survived by one brother; Exel Evans, Jr., sister; Sadie Evans Barnes, and one aunt; Zernon Simes Evans. His legacy continues through and remembered by his special nieces and nephews; Lorraine (Fredron) Dillahunt, Loreli Brooks, Tasheta (Dewayne) Evans, Nakeshia (Cedric) Dobbins, Edcia (Marcus) Nelson, Eddie (Marvie) Evans, Carvant (Kitsonia) Hancock, Antiquin Evans, Erick Evans, Michael Hancock, Exel Evans, III, a special brother/cousin; Jerry Reece, Cathy Mitchell along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
