Visitation will be held Saturday, November 22, 2025 at Deliverance Temple Church of God in Christ, 3585 North Watkins Street, Memphis Tennessee 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon. Funeral Service will promptly begin at 12:00 Noon Saturday, November 22, 2025 at 12:00 noon at Deliverance Temple Church of God in Christ, 3585 North Watkins Street, Memphis Tennessee. Interment will be held Sunday, November 23, 2025 at 8:00 a.m. at Jackson Memorial Cemetery, Lexa Arkansas.
Lashawniccee Travisia Carter Harris was born May 29, 1991 at 8:31 p.m. at Helena Regional Medical Center, Helena Arkansas to Lakeitha Carter and Corvette Miller. Weighing in at 8 pounds, ¾ ounces, 19 inches long, she was a bundle of bubbling joy. She transitioned from this earthly life receiving her eternal reward October 25, 2025.
Lashawniccee established a relationship with her Lord and Savior at an early age. She started her Christian journey at Greater Power House, West Helena Arkansas under the leadership of the late Bishop Alex Smith, J. Sr. There she sung in the choir, developing her singing voice and love of gospel music. She later relocated to Memphis, Tennessee joining Deliverance Temple Church of God in Christ under Pastor Albert Odell Clark. Again, she actively sung in the choir but expanded her service to the Youth Department. She also used her gift of persuasion to become the “#1 Doughnut Sales Person for the church’s fundraiser.
Lashawniccee was so eminency blessed to have several male figures in her life to accept and love her as their own; Avery (Keya) Ramsey, stepdad; the late Cliff Byrd, and bonus dad; Keith Turks in which he often referred to her as “Daughter.”
Lashawniccee received her formal education within the Memphis – Shelby County School District. She graduated from Raleigh Egypt High School with honors in 2009. She went on to pursue higher education at Lane College, Jackson Tennessee completing General Study hours. Exploring other avenues of study, she enrolled in the Medical Assistant Program with Phoenix University, receiving a completion certificate and eventually, phlebotomy spiked her interest while attending Job Corps. She was extremely intelligent and diversely talented in so many capacities.
Lashawniccee met Donterrio Harris and was united in Holy Matrimony November 3, 2015. To this union two handsome sons were born; Kelyn Joshua and Karson Johnathan. She loved her family, but her sons were her world.
Lashawniccee was an employee of Enterprise Corporate, located at Memphis International Airport for 12 years. After cultivating her administrative skills, she decided to journey into the realm of entrepreneurship. She birthed many businesses such as: K & K Customs, Exotic Lashes, and Remote Rockstars. Her jovial disposition allowed her to meet so many people from all walks of life, fostering the ability to serve all ethnicities to meet their custom needs.
Lashawniccee, affectionately known as “Fine Body,” is preceded in death by her great grandparents, grandmothers; Mary Ann Watson, Zera Ramsey, stepdad; Cliff Byrd, great aunts; Snow Ella Pimms, Martha LaRose Carter, Samantha Arnett, and uncle; Nelson Shepard.
Lashawniccee leaves to cherish her legacy and memories her husband; Donterrio Harris, two children; Kelyn Harris, Karson Harris, mother; Lakeitha Carter, father; Corvette Miller, siblings; Corinthian Ramsey, Jahmius Ramsey, CorVeonna Miller, Aaliyah Miller, Rashard Cunningham, Nicholas Miller, Martez Miller, grandmother; Alberta Miller, mother-in-love; Terrie Harris, aunts; Queen Watson, Anica Watson, Lashana Gray, Lakeisha Taylor, uncle; Jordan Watson, one great aunt; Della Dew, two great uncles; Clarence Allen, Sammie Arnett, Jr., bonus dads; Avery (Keya) Ramsey, Keith Turks, and a host of relatives and so many friends.
“Fine Body” Lashawniccee, infectious smile and big personality will forever be remembered.
