Visitation will be held Friday, August 29, 2025 at Jackson - Highley Funeral Home, West Helena AR from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held Saturday, August 30, 2025 at First Missionary Baptist Church, 125 North Coanza Street, West Helena AR at 2:00 p.m.
Brandon Demario Billingsley, Sr. was born on January 8, 1985 to the late Timothy McMickle and Jennifer Billingsley in Helena, Arkansas.
Brandon attended Phillips Community College in 2003 where he obtained his General Education Diploma. He was a hardworking family man. He worked for Barton – Lexa Water Department, Helena – West Helena Water Department, and Marianna Water Department. He obtained his certificate of welding in 2023.He recently obtained his Commercial Driver’s License in 2024, ultimately fulfilling his life-long dream to become a trucker driver. He enjoyed the outdoors. He loved to fish, garden, barbeque, and take care of his farm animals. He was an unwavering Dallas Cowboy fan. He loved his Dallas Cowboys “win or lose.”
Brandon accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized and became a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. Nathaniel Hull, Sr. He was later led and guided by his current Pastor, Von Daniels.
Brandon departed this life on August 18, 2025 at his home in Barton, Arkansas.
Brandon is gone but not forgotten as evidenced by the legacy left to carry on his character, values, and zest for life. Left to treasure many memories and mourn his physical absence, his devoted wife; Katheren Billingsley of Barton AR, a son; Brandon Demario Billingsley, Jr. of Malstrom MT, three daughters; Kaniyah Perry of Hampton VA, Ki’ayla Hale, Raven Billingsley both of Barton AR, his parents; Jennifer (Hedgemond) Hilton of Pine Bluff AR, James Jacobs of Helena AR, three brothers; Kerry Billingsley of Horn Lake MS, Derrick (Dorothy) Billingsley, Sr. of West Helena AR, Timothy Davis of Nashville TN, a sister; Shana Davis of Little Rock AR, a granddaughter; Ja’Loni Billingsley of West Helena AR, his maternal grandmother; Christine Moore of Barton AR, and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
Brandon was preceded in death by his father; Timothy McMickle, his sister; Erica McMickle, paternal grandparents; Sam and Lillian McMickle, George and Lovie Jacobs, maternal grandparents; David Billingsley, Sr., his father-in-law; Silas Hoskins, Jr., his mother-in-law; Alice Jean Jones, his brother-in-law; Anthony Lee Jones, Sr.
