Visitation will be held Friday, June 27, 2025 at Jackson - Highley Funeral Home Chapel, West Helena Arkansas from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held Saturday, June 28, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Phillips, Lee, Monroe and Desha District Center, Helena Crossing, Helena Arkansas. Interment will follow immediately at Sunset Memorial Park, Barton Arkansas.
Doris Diane Tyler-Johnson, 68 was born on April 18, 1957 to Adell Hollingworth and Naomi Washington in Helena, Arkansas. She transitioned from this earthly life receiving her heavenly reward on June 16, 2025.
Affectionately known as Diane, she accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior. As a part of her Christian journey, she joined New Zion Missionary Baptist Church and remained faithful until her demise.
Diane graduated with the Class of 1975 from Central High School, Helena Arkansas.
Diane began her career with the City of West Helena on August 1, 1988. After 35 years, she retired from the City of Helena – West Helena on February 2, 2024.
Diane was predeceased by her parents; Adell Hollingworth and Naomi Washington. She is survived by her husband; Edward Johnson, her children; Lawrence (Angela) Tyler, Jr., Fabian (Temesha) Tyler, Lantri Tyler, Ashlee (Tiana) Tyler, her brothers; Roscoe (Debra) Bailey, Thomas (Pam) Washington, Calvin Washington, Sr., David Washington, Leo Smith, Sr., her sisters; Brenda (Tommy) Eggerson, Teresa Smith; her eighteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and loved ones.
