Earlene “The Queen” Walker entered this world on September 23, 1952, in Helena, Arkansas, born to Earl Walker, Sr. and Josie B. Walker. On May 2, 2025, she peacefully entered eternal rest at home—her favorite place to be.

At an early age, Earlene accepted Christ as her Savior and was baptized under the leadership of Reverend Webster at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church on Highway 20 in Helena, Arkansas.

A proud graduate of Eliza Miller High School, Earlene was known for her love of fishing, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends. She held various jobs throughout her life until her health no longer allowed her to work. Earlene had a magnetic personality—she was a true friend to many and deeply loved by all who knew her. Everyone she encountered was special to her, and she made sure they felt it. If you needed the latest updates or a good laugh, Earlene was the one to call.  She was always the laughter and joy of the conversation.

Earlene was preceded in death by her father; Earl Walker, Sr., mother; Josie B. Walker, two brothers; Earl Walker, Jr., Jack Walker, four sisters; Mary Walker, Josie Walker, Caroline Walker, Gail Walker, and three grandsons; Tyler Miller, Cortney Williams, and Quantavious Stringer.

Earlene leaves behind a legacy of memories, love, and laughter. She is survived by her two sons; Carl (Katrina McIntosh) Miller, Garrie Williams and Jacqueline Stringer; one brother; Robert Walker, four sisters; Earnestine James, Thelma (Edward) Kinard, Esther (Irinza) Smith, Barbara Zigler, one aunt; Emma Jean Banks, ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
