Obituaries

James was born in Memphis, Tennessee to Roscoe Petterson and Leola Lee Petterson, both preceded in death. He was raised in West Helena, Arkansas before the family moved to St. Louis, Missouri. There, Huedell joined the military and learned to fix and build anything from a car to a house. He was very crafty with his hands and would help others with multifaceted projects.

He leaves behind two brothers: Roscoe Petterson, Jr. & Charles Jones, three sisters: Marva Hughes, Mary Thompson, & Sheila Jones, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
