There will not be a visitation. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, March 29, 2025 at Phillips, Lee, Monroe, and Desha District Center, Helena Crossing, Helena, West Helena Arkansas at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow immediately at First Baptist Cemetery, Elaine Arkansas.
Sarah Helen Seals was born August 15, 1956 to the late Naomi Williams and Add Rand, Sr. in Modoc, Arkansas. She departed this earthly life surrounded by her loving family March 14, 2025 in the comforts of her own home.
Sarah accepted Christ as her personal Savior at an early age at Gumwood Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend P.L. Perkins. She served as the Church Secretary for many years and remained a dutiful and faithful servant until she passed.
Sarah received her formal education with the Elaine School District. Graduating from Elaine High School Class of 1974. She went on to further her education at Phillips County Community College, Helena Arkansas where she obtained her qualifications to pursue a career in Early Childhood Development. Although she had worked thirty-two years within Early Childhood Programs, she was currently employed at Phillips County Developmental Center as a Head Start Teacher.
Sarah had an angelic singing voice. She sang in the church choir leading songs, touching the hearts of many. She also was member of a gospel group the “Dad and the Spiritual Singers.”
Sarah is preceded in death by her mother; Naomi Williams, her father; Add Rand, Sr., siblings; Tyrone Mitchell, Bennie Gibson, Sr., Bobby Seals, Dorothy Ingram, Eddie Mae Jefferson, Bennie Gibson, Sr., and Add Rand, Jr.
Sarah leaves to cherish her memories her children; Zanthuas Seals, Sr., Evander Bush, Devonte Bush all of Elaine AR, special nephews and nieces; Reggie (Toria) Jefferson, Sr. of Elaine AR, Demarcus (Lashunda) Jefferson, Sr. of Olive Branch MS, Danna (Corey) Woods, Jockea (Sarge-Daldric) Jefferson, Demetra (Kenya) Jefferson all of Little Rock AR, siblings; David (Patricia) Taylor of Elaine AR, James (Martha) Williams, Sammy (Susan) Seals both of Little Rock AR, Daniel (Viola) Seals of Marvell AR, Marie Randle of Chicago IL, Ella Rand of Jonesboro AR, Gloria Tye of West Helena AR, Donnell Rand, Mary Louise Burrell, Geraldine Rand, Louvonne Tye all of Milwaukee WI, grandchildren; Queena Seals, Petral Seals, Zanthuas Seals, Jr. and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
