Obituaries

Toni Monta Brown was born to Ethel Brown Sanders on May 1, 1967 in West Helena, Arkansas.  He made his transition from this life in the early hours of February 7, 2025. 

Toni accepted Christ at thirteen years old and was baptized at First Missionary Baptist Church in West Helena, Arkansas under the leadership of Reverend Dr. Nathaniel Hull, Sr. 

Toni graduated from Central High School in 1985.  He then attended Phillips County Community College in Helena for a year.   Tony chose to live and work in West Helena, after a short time of working and living in Memphis, Tennessee.  Toni wanted to be near and assist his grandmother; Pearlie Mae Brown, who raised and nurtured him in a loving home. 

He leaves to cherish his memories his mother; Ethel Brown Sanders of Flint MI, five siblings; Michael (Marriott) Brown, Ronnie Miller, Kenneth Sanders, Latonya Sanders, Jomo Sanders, Two aunts; Geneva (John) Brown Gilliam, Bernice Brown Amos, one uncle; William Brown and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
