Today, we gather to celebrate the life of Kylin Harris, Sr., a beloved son, brother, father, and friend. Born to Curtis Harris and Anita Washington, Kylin brought joy and love to everyone who knew him. From a young age, he confessed hope at the Church of the Living God under the guidance of Pastor Michael Jenkins, setting a foundation of faith that would carry him throughout his life.

Kylin’s greatest pride and joy were his two children, Kylin Harris, Jr. and Raelynn Harris. He loved them dearly and found immense happiness in being their father. His legacy of love and devotion will live on through them.

Kylin’s early years were filled with the simple pleasures of childhood. He attended schools in the Helena-West Helena School District, where he developed a love for learning and sports. Whether he was playing baseball at J.R. House in West Helena or shooting hoops at the Boys and Girls Club, Kylin’s enthusiasm and energy were contagious. He cherished the time spent with his brothers and cousins, creating memories that would last a lifetime. Kylin also enjoyed spending time with his friends, sharing laughter and creating bonds that would last forever.

Kylin is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Charles Askew, Jr., and his paternal grandmother, Ella Mae Arrington. Though we mourn his passing, we also celebrate the beautiful life he led and the indelible mark he left on our hearts.

As we remember Kylin, we hold onto the cherished memories and the love he shared with his family and friends. His children; Kylin Harris, Jr. and Raelynn Harris, and the mother of his children; Makayla Hines, along with his mother; Anita Washington (Terry) of Lexa, AR, and his father; Curtis Harris of West Helena, AR, will forever treasure the moments they had with him. His siblings; Travolis (Joy) Harris, Tavaris Harris, Tyrun Harris all of West Helena, AR, Brandon Harris of Lexa, AR, Za’Mahri Harris, and Za’Kari Harris both of Cotton Plant, AR, God sister; Londyn Henry of Elaine, AR, Grandmother; Jit Green, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends will always remember the beautiful memories shared with him.
