Visitation will be held Saturday, September 28, 2024 at Lucilia Wood Elementary School, Elaine Arkansas from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Funeral service will promptly begin at 11:00 a.m. at Lucilia Wood Elementary School, Elaine Arkansas. Interment will be held immediately at Morning Star Cemetery, Elaine Arkansas. We will follow CDC guidelines: mask, hand sanitizer, and the social distance standard of 6ft apart.
Christopher Antwone Martin was born September 3, 1986 to James White, Sr. and Vera Martin in Helena, Arkansas. He transitioned from this earthly life September 21, 2024 in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Affectionately known as “Chris,” confessed a hope in Christ at an early age under the leadership of Reverend Andrew Gibson.
Chris received his formal education within the Lakeview School District. He graduated from C.V. White High School, Lakeview Arkansas Class of 2004. After graduation he attended and worked at Phillips County Developmental Center (PCDC).
Chris was a very friendly and compassionate person. In his spare time, he loved playing his Play Station 5 and enjoyed talking on the phone.
Chris is preceded in death by; Delois Hampton, Carolyn Martin, Linda Carter, Alverica (Josh) Sims, Charles Simmons, Clifford Simmons, Michael Otis, and Tawanda White.
Chris leaves to cherish his memory his parents; James White, Sr. and Vera Martin, siblings; Marquita Nash, Cierra Dotson, Falanne White, Erica (Mercede) Broadwater, La’Cora White, Ka’Chasity White, Terrance Magsby, Sr., James (Darryl) McCrae, Ladawn Martin, Rayshun Glass, Stephon White, Donterrio Ayers, uncles and aunts whom he loved so dearly; Paul White, Fredell White, Ella Wright, Hosey Martin, Martha (Micheal) Slater, Diane Hampton, Terry (Elaine) Hampton, Willie Henderson, Merlyn Henderson, Rickey Henderson, Deborah Martin, Wayne Martin, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
