Visitation will be held Saturday, September 14, 2024 at Jackson - Highley Funeral Home, 126 Panama Road, West Helena Arkansas from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Funeral service will promptly begin at 11:00 a.m. at Jackson - Highley Funeral Home, 126 Panama Road, West Helena Arkansas. Interment will follow immediately at Jackson Memorial Cemetery, Lexa Arkansas. We will follow CDC guidelines: mask, hand sanitizer, and the social distance standard of 6ft apart.
Ms. Jessie Smith was born July 1, 1948 in Dermott, Arkansas. She was a resident of Cedar Lodge Nursing Home until the facility closed in 2002. She then became a resident of Delta House, Inc. in West Helena, Arkansas which remained her home until her death.
Ms. Jessie had a sweet spirit, and she loved to dance.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories her guardian; Mrs. Mary Mitchell of West Helena, Arkansas, her family of nine Delta House residents, and the staff of Delta House.
