Visitation will be held Friday, August 24, 2018 at Jackson - Highley Funeral Home Chapel, West Helena Arkansas from 1-6 p.m. Funeral service will be held Saturday, August 25, 2018 at New Haven Baptist Church, West Helena AR at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow immediately at Jackson Memorial Cemetery, Lexa AR.
Cherrkisha Jones was born November 21, 1998 to Joseph Jones and Pamela Eaton. She departed this earthly life with her son Hayden DeShawn Lewis August 12, 2018.
Cherrkisha confessed a hope in Christ at an early age at Beautiful Zion Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Danny Robinson. Cherrkisha was educated in the Helena – West Helena School District. She was a proud graduate of Central High School Class of 2017. She was employed at Taco Bell.
Cherrkisha was preceded in death by her grandfather; Luther Johnson.
Cherrkisha and Hayden leaves to cherish their memory a son/brother; Kavien Tridel Lewis – whom they loved dearly, a very special friend/Hayden’s father; Anthony Lewis of West Helena AR, parents/grandparents; Joseph (Kamedra) Jones, Pamela (Deandre) Eaton, four sisters/aunts; Kayla Jones, Iyanna Jones, Bella Green, Bailee Green all of West Helena AR, three brothers/uncles; Ahmaud Jones, Treyvon Jones, Chayse Jones all of West Helena AR, grandparents/great grandparents; Lloyd (Palestine) Scales of Jacksonville AR, Joann Haire of Jonesboro AR, a special grandmother; Leslie Bates of West Helena AR, two best friends; Deonta Miller, Alaisha Golden and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
