Visitation will be held Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Phillips, Lee, Monroe, and Desha District Center, Helena Crossing, Helena Arkansas from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held Saturday, May 25, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Phillips, Lee, Monroe, and Desha District Center, Helena Crossing, Helena Arkansas. Interment will follow immediately at New Zion Cemetery, West Helena Arkansas. We will follow CDC guidelines: mask, hand sanitizer, and the social distance standard of 6ft apart.
Josiephine McCraney was born on August 25, 1940 in Helena, Arkansas to the late Geneva and J.K. Evans. Josiephine transitioned to her new life in God’s Kingdom on May 6, 2024.

Josiephine is preceded in death by her parents; Geneva and J.K. Evans, her husbands; Leon Wilborn, LeRoy McCraney, her sons; Kenny Wilborn, Anthony Wilborn, Johnny Clay Wilborn, Fredrick McCraney, Marcus McCraney, a son-in-law; Gaylord Liggins, and a granddaughter; Cheneka McCraney.

(Tiny) Jefferson of Elaine AR, Jessie McCraney, Richard McCraney both of Memphis TN, her one and only sister; Bertha (Abe) Hall of Memphis TN, brother; Smith (Herstein) Evans, Morris Evans both of Chicago IL, her aunt; Rachel Washington of Austin TX, her uncle; Frank (Geneva) Highley of South Carolina, two grandchildren thought of as her sons; Treyvon Howard of Jonesboro AR, Ta’Derrius McCraney of Marianna AR, and a host of grandchildren, cousins, and friends.
