Visitation will be held Friday, May 26, 2023 at Jackson – Highley Funeral Home, West Helena Arkansas from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held Saturday, May 27, 2023 at New Beginning Church, 554 South 7th Street, West Helena Arkansas at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow immediately at Sunset Memorial Park, Barton Arkansas. We will follow CDC guidelines:  mask, hand sanitizer, and the social distance standard of 6ft apart. Mr. Williams service may be viewed live through ZOOM. Emment was born May 11,1947 to the late Homer Williams, Sr. and Lillie Mae Jones in Crumrod, Arkansas. He transitioned from this earthly life to his eternal home May 19, 2023.

Emment was married to Carolyn Williams for twenty-four years. She preceded him in death in 2019.

Emment confessed his belief in Christ at an early age and was an active member of New Beginning Church in West Helena, Arkansas where he served until his demise.

Emment was a hard-working Army Veteran. After that, he worked various jobs in the city.

Emment leaves to cherish his memory his loving brother; Homer Williams, Jr. of West Helena AR, eight children whom he cherished; Sonya (Terry) Holmes, Cedric Williams, Kimberly Williams, Larrise Williams, Emment Williams, Jr., Emily (Maurice) Ragsdale, Jenny Mckaskle, Kenny Wayne Gentry, twenty-five grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
