Visitation will be held Sunday, March 5, 2023 at First Missionary Baptist Church, 125 North Coanza Street, West Helena Arkansas from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Funeral Service will promptly be held Sunday, March 5, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at First Missionary Baptist Church, 125 North Coanza Street, West Helena Arkansas. Interment will follow immediately at Jackson Memorial Cemetery, Lexa AR. We will follow CDC guidelines: mask, hand sanitizer, and the social distance standard of 6ft apart. Mrs. Golden's service may be viewed live through ZOOM.

Yvonne Elaine Dolphin was born to Mamie Bridewell and the late James Leroy Dolphin, Sr. on January 27, 1963 in West Helena, Arkansas. Affectionately known as “Elaine,” she was the only girl of Mamie’s four children. She transitioned from this earthly life February 18, 2023 at her home with her son.
Elaine received her formal education within the Helena – West Helena School District. She attended Eliza Miller Junior High School and Central High School both of West Helena, Arkansas. She was a proud graduate of the Central Class of “1982.”
Elaine accepted Christ as her personal Savior at an early age at First Missionary Baptist Church, West Helena Arkansas under the leadership of Reverend Dr. Nathaniel Hull, Sr.
Elaine enjoyed singing. She used her talents generously in service of the Lord. She was a faithful member of First Missionary Baptist Choir and Supreme Angels She also founded her own group “The Dedications.” She lent her voice to whomever needed to hear voice. Truly, she has always been a willing soul.
Elaine was a bright light in this community and surrounding areas. She sung at various occasions, no matter the locations. The uniqueness of her voice would comfort the souls of many. Elaine expressed love throughout people, especially children. She strived to plant seeds of love. She was one of the best sweet potatoe pie, kool-aid pickle maker on this side. Her career path included working for Dr. David Webber and most recently, working for Mrs. Sims.
Elaine is preceded in death by her father; James Leroy Dolphin, Sr., grandfather; Silas Dolphin, grandmother; Willie Mae Thomas, brother; Alaric Dolphin, stepson; Napolean Jefferson, and many more relatives.
Elaine leaves to cherish her memories her husband of thirty-five years; James Golden, one and only son; Cortney (Keesha) Anderson, stepchildren; Carol Jackson, Elsa Diggs, Betty Gause, Gwendolyn Frierson, Dorothy Young, her mother; Mamie Bridewell, eight brothers; Victor (Feliesha) Jordan, Larry White, Tony (Lisa) Dolphin, James Leroy Dolphin, Jr. Sean Dolphin, Ronald Dolphin, Antonio Dolphin, Kim Moore, three sisters; Eva Davis, Regina Smith, Rosalind Williams, one sister-in-law; Charis Dolphin, one grandson; Jalen Anderson, God children; Marci Jordan Washington, Francesea Porter, Victoria Parker, Courtney Baylark, Angela Billingsley, Rosaland Brown, Peyton Angel Parker, three special friends; Pat Williams, Carol “Bam” Thorton, Cherry Carter, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
