Visitation will be held Friday, February 24, 2023 at Jackson - Highley Funeral Home, West Helena Arkansas from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Luke Church of God in Christ, 400 Lee Street, Elaine Arkansas. Interment will follow immediately at Morning Star Cemetery, Elaine Arkansas. We will follow CDC guidelines:  mask, hand sanitizer, and the social distance standard of 6ft apart. Ms. Lenora Kemp German was born to the late George Kemp and Geraldine German on May 31, 1950 in Elaine, Arkansas.

Lenora was a resident of Elaine, Arkansas all her life. She accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of St. Luke Church of God in Christ. She was a caregiver for many years before her health started to decline. She was Godfearing woman who loved her children, grandchildren, family, and friends. She loved teaching about the “old folks” (sayings that were instilled in her by her grandmother, Ida Wells Turner) where she taught her children and grandchildren. She was loved by all who knew her and even ones who came in contact with her.

She was preceded in death by her children, Eric L. Dunlap, Sr., and Shunreka Dunlap, her parents, George Kemp and Geraldine German, her grandmother, Ida Wells Turner.

Lenora leaves to cherish her memories her children; Constance Jackson, Ashanta Dunlap both of Benton AR, Amanda (Kenneth) Ogbulankwo, Patrick Kemp,  Monteia (Jeremy) Dobbins all of Little Rock AR, Dorcas Dunlap of Elaine AR, a special granddaughter whom she raised as her daughter; Andrea Jackson, her siblings; Joyce Watson of Elaine AR, Catherine Fitzhugh of West Helena, Leroy Mitchell of Kansas City MO, 32 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren, a special friend; Elisha Moody, two dear friends; Betty Marshall, Shirley Carney and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
