Sis. Florine was born September 6, 1923, to Roberta (Harp) and Spencer Weston Hall Sr. She departed this life on Thursday, November 17, 2022.
Her first love was Jesus Christ. She accepted him as her personal Savior many years ago. She believed and lived by the song; “Hold to God’s Unchanging Hand.” She was a devoted and faithful member that sang in the choir for many years. She was a mother on the mother’s board, and she would set the table during communion (until her health began to fail). She would occasionally ask to sing a solo during Sunday Service and it ignited the Sunday Service for the body of believers because her voice was angelic.
Sis. Florine worked several jobs but the one that gave her longevity, was Ada Belle’s Dress Shop in Helena. She worked for Mary Hollowell as a Domestic Engineer. Sis. Motley passion was cooking, flowers and she loved her friends.
Sis. Florine was proceeded in death by her parents; Roberta and Spencer Hall, brothers and sisters; Asa Hall, Pearly Mae Hall, Link Hall, Hettie Lee Chanay, Irene Hall, Isaiah Hall, Naomi Mays, Irene Jones, Fredouglas Hall, Elbert Hall, Spencer Hall Jr., Rev. Ulsee Hall, Theodis Hall and John Wesley Hall.
She leaves to cherish her memory one son; King David Smith (K. D.), one grandson; Brian Smith both of Chesapeake VA, one sister; Theressa White, three sisters-in-law; Lula Mae Hall, Bernice Motley, Barbara Hall and a wealth of friends whom she loved dearly.
