Visitation will be held Friday, August 19, 2022 at Jackson - Highley Funeral Home, West Helena Arkansas from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Second Baptist Church, 167 Park Street, West Helena Arkansas. Interment will follow immediately at Morning Star Cemetery, Elaine Arkansas. We will follow CDC guidelines:  mask, hand sanitizer, and the social distance standard of 6ft apart. Our beloved Eddie B. Jimmerson, Sr. was born August 16, 1959 in County Crossing (Elaine), Arkansas to Willie Jimmerson and Celestine Austin. He was the next to youngest of seven children. He was baptized at an early age at Old Jerusalem Church under the Leadership of Reverend Ed Meeks.

Eddie received an HONORABLE discharge for his service in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and being a good provider to his family. He was a proud employee, throughout his career he held jobs at The City of West Helena in the sanitation department, Mid-Delta Transit, Phillips County Jail and East Arkansas Regional Unit prior to having a stroke in 2012.

He transitioned on August 10, 2022 at his home in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents; Willie Jimmerson and Celestine Austin-Kelly, three brothers; Theodis Kelly, Bobby Lee Jimmerson, Willie Watson, one sister; Mary Austin and one daughter; Kelsey Aria Jimmerson.

He leaves to cherish his memories one daughter; Annalise (Barry) Davis of Bauxite AR, three sons; Eddie Jimmerson, Jr. of Jonesboro AR, Jonathan (Yarp) Jimmerson of Memphis TN, Joshua Womack of Little Rock AR, seven grandchildren; Markell Davis, Ariyonna Davis, Ka’Maria Jimmerson, Kayden Davis, Laken Booker, Brooklynn Davis, Eddie Jimmerson, lll, one brother; AC (Lakeisha) Watson of Houston TX, two sisters; Barby (Charles) Brown of Elaine AR, Corine Richardson of Helena AR, one sister-n-law; Farris Watson of Houston TX,  Anita Simmons, mother of four of his children, a special friend; Mary Davis, caregiver; Patia Wilborn, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
