Visitation will be held Friday, February 18, 2022 at Jackson Highley Funeral Home Chapel, West Helena Arkansas from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. We will follow CDC guidelines: mask, hand sanitizer, and the social distance standard of 6ft apart.
Tom Matthews, III was born February 19, 1973 to Tom and Birtha Matthews in West Helena, Arkansas. He confessed his life to Christ at an early age at Long Lake Missionary Baptist Church, Helena Arkansas under the leadership of the late Reverend Charles Webster, Sr.
Tom, affectionately known as “Smoky,” was a part of the Central High School, Helena – West Helena Arkansas graduating class of 1993. He loved spending time with his family and friends. One might say he was always the life of the party. Tom was a free spirit that enjoyed life.
Tom leaves to cherish his memories a daughter; La Quansha Matthews, a grandson; Jarvell Matthews both of Little Rock AR, mother; Birtha Perry Matthews, father; Tom Matthews, Jr., two sisters; Sheryl (Richard) Matthews Croft, Barbara (Otis) Matthews Messenger, a brother; Eric Jackson all of Helena – West Helena AR and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
