Visitation will be held Friday, December 10, 2021 at Jackson - Highley Funeral Home Chapel, West Helena, Arkansas from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Graveside Service will be held Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Jackson Memorial Cemetery, Lexa Arkansas. Shirlette Shonta Donaby was born August 15, 1979 to Mr. James Donaby, Jr. and Cynthia Baker in West Helena, Arkansas. She departed this earthly life December 2, 2021 surrounded by her loving family at Baptist Healthcare, Little Rock Arkansas.
Shirlette accepted Christ at an early age at Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Helena Arkansas.
Affectionately known as “Shonta,” she was a fun-loving person. She was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.
Shonta is preceded in death by her mother; Cynthia Baker Roberson and a sister; Iesha Donaby.
Shonta leaves to cherish her memories her common law husband; Tyrone Turner, a son; Tyrik Turner, her father; James (Annie) Donaby, Jr., stepfather; Leon Roberson, Sr., grandmother; Sarah Bradley, six brothers; Dometric (Shellvie) Steele, James (Terese) Donaby, III, Jermaine (Samantha) Donaby, Clemon (Geneva) Brown, Dewayne (Dominique) Baker, Corddearo (Nikki) Baker, four sisters; Ca’Trell (Freddie) Burns, Keiandra (Charles) Hardison, Aretha (Aundre) Bryant, Angela Matthews, step siblings; Leon Roberson, Jr., Lakeshia Roberson, and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, cousins and friends.
