Memorial service will be held Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Jackson - Highley Funeral Home Chapel, West Helena, Arkansas at 2:00 p.m. We will follow CDC guidelines: mask, hand sanitizer, temperature checks, and the social distance standard of 6ft apart.
Patricia Ann Canady Dotson was born September 12, 1957, in Wabash, Arkansas to Cleotha, Sr. and the late Mandy Canady. As she walked through her life, Patricia departed from us June 29, 2021, in West Helena, Arkansas.
At the early age of seven, affectionately known as “Pat” relocated with the family to Chicago, Illinois. There she received her formal education within the Chicago Public School System.
Pat met and later united in Holy Matrimony to Buster Dotson. To this union one precious son was born.
While residing in Chicago, Pat cared for her mother until her mother’s demise. She then returned to Arkansas. In later years, she was the caregiver for her elderly father in which Pat cared for him until her departure.
Pat leaves to cherish her only son; Tirae Dotson, father; Cleotha Canady, Sr., brothers; Lawrence, Cleotha, Jr., Ronald, a sister; Carrie Jean, an uncle; Eddie Lewis, aunts; Maxine, Emma, Arminta, Ida, three grandchildren; Keonte Smith, Tyvahn, Tyra Patricia, one great grandchild; Aviana and a host of nephews, nieces, other loved ones, family, and friends.
