Genoria Williams Mosby was born July 30, 1947 in Helena, Arkansas to the late Lucille King and Jimmie Williams. She was the oldest girl of nine siblings.

Genoria Mosby transitioned from this earthly life into her new home in glory on May 5, 2021.

Genoria was baptized at an early age at Frist Baptist Church, Lake View, Arkansas. She was an active member until she graduated and moved to Little Rock, Arkansas. She later attended Greater Friendship Baptist Church during her stay in Little Rock. After moving to West Helena, Arkansas, she attended the Church of the Living God PGOT in Elaine, Arkansas until her death.

Genoria attended Lake View High School. She graduated in 1967. She acquired an Associates Degree from Shorter College, Little Rock, Arkansas and a Bachelor’s Degree form Philander Smith College, Little Rock, Arkansas. She was employed by Baptist Medical Center, Little Rock, Arkansas for over forty years. For her invaluable service she was presented with many service awards. She loved helping and encouraging others.

Genoria was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Freddy Mosby, Sr. Three children were born to this union, daughter; Gwendolyn Mosby Carroll, two sons; Freddy Mosby, Jr., and Keith Mosby.

Genoria was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; Freddy Mosby, Sr., a daughter; Gwendolyn Mosby Carroll, and a son; Keith Mosby.

Genoria leaves to cherish her memory one son; Freddy Mosby, Jr., a granddaughter she raised and cared for as her own; Alexis Carroll, a special aunt; Pearl Pope, five sisters; Peggy Jackson, Marry Williams, Mildred Scales, Debra (Paul) Fuller, Pearl Mitchell, six brothers; Leron Jefferson, Issac Scales, William (Sharon) Scales, Thomas (Carol) Scales, Curtis (Rose) Scales, Anthony Williams, five brothers-in-law; Roosevelt Coleman, Milton Sykes, Bobby Sykes, Jimmy Mosby, Terrence Mosby, two sisters-in-law; Donnie Graves, Gwendolyn Robinson, a host of grandchildren, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
