Visitation will be held Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Jackson - Highley Funeral Home Chapel, West Helena AR from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Due to our Federal and State COVID-19 guidelines; face masks, temperature checks and hand sanitizing are required at door for entry.
Barbara Louise Vincent affectionately known as “Bob” was born March 29, 1965 to C.W. and Stella Vincent in Southland – Lexa, Arkansas. Accepting Christ at an early age, Bob was a helper to any and all in need. She instilled the value of Love in her family and all that came in contact with her. She taught her family the true meaning of loving to each other. She lived a life of compassion and love for others.
Among the many of things that Bob loved, she was most grateful for being a great mother to her only son and anyone who came in contact with her. She enjoyed cooking, listening to gospel music, driving her parents and others around, giving great advice, helping others and being the peace maker and backbone to the family. She was greatly known for her lemon pies, chitterlings, dressing, hog maws, lastly but the most her mom Stella, loved her liver and rice. She had a way of always uplifting and encouraging anyone she met. Bob was called home on Tuesday, March 2, 2021. She left us precious memories, and her love will be our guide. She will be remembered forever by her devoted family and friends.
Bob is proceeded in death by her brother; Kevin Vincent, grandparents; William and Theresa Roberson, Nathaniel and Alberta Vincent, aunts; Irene Young, Bertha “Donney” Taylor, Florida “Aunt T” Vincent, uncles; Jackie Roberson, William Roberson, Lee Archie Roberson, John Roberson, Charles Roberson and Dewitt Roberson.
She leaves to cherish her memories her only son, whom she loved with everything in her; Antwain Anderson of West Helena, AR. Three granddaughters; Kaylin Swopes, Kaylee Swopes, and Ma’Lyiah Anderson all of Conway, AR. Her parents; C.W. and Stella Vincent of West Helena, AR. Six brothers: James Vincent, Kenneth (Neka) Vincent, Lamar Vincent, Demetrius Vincent, and Antonio (Sheena) Vincent all of West Helena, AR. Terry Roberson of Memphis, TN. One sister Regina Vincent of West Helena, AR. Close friends – relatives; Betty Wilson, Zelda Roberson, Kimberly Gause, Shelia Vincent, Tamika Ester, Wesley Anderson, and Percy Woods. Host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.
