Visitation will be held Saturday, September 12, 2020 at Rock of Ages Missionary Baptist Church, 8112 Bicentennial Road, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72118 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Funeral Services will promptly start at 11:00 a.m. at Rock of Ages Missionary Baptist Church. Please allow time and patience for COVID-19 entry process to include: mask, hand sanitizer, temperature checks, and sign-in roster with name and phone number. Interment will follow at Poplar Grove Community Cemetery, Poplar Grove Arkansas at 3:30 p.m. At the Cemetery - we will abide by the social distance standard of 6ft apart. Alfred Floyd Rose, 61, was born on August 31, 1959 to the late Jessie Mae Clemons and Philander Rose Sr. He accepted Christ as his personal savior at an early age. Later as an adult he fellowshipped at Rock of Ages Missionary Baptist church where he remained faithful until health challenges prevented him from attending.
He will be remembered for his friendly personality, loving spirit and spending time with family and friends. He also enjoyed anything to do with working outside, beautifying the land. He was loved by all who knew him. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren.
Alfred transitioned peacefully on Sunday September 6th, 2020 surround by his close family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, (Brothers) Christopher, Arnett, Raymond and Philander Jr. (Sister) Lois, Marvella and God-daughter Melissa Stratton.
Alfred will be remembered and cherished by his wife Myrna Rose of 32 years and his Daughters: Kandis Kemp and Kyra Rose and Son Kristopher Rose (Olivia) Siblings: Barbara Pichon (Morris), Wilean Jackson, Carolyn Cox (Johnny), Earnestine Banks, Virgina Rose, Sandra Rose, Larry Rose, Nathaniel Rose (Joyce), Charles Rose (Wilhelmina), Fred Rose (Wilma), Alfonzo Rose (Toni). Four grandchildren: Kennedi, Karsen, Kaydence and Indie. Aunts: Alice Turner and Rosie Ellaby and a host of uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
