Visitation will be Friday, June 5, 2020 at Jackson - Highley Funeral Home Chapel, West Helena Arkansas from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Graveside service will be held Saturday, June 6, 2020 at Jackson Memorial Cemetery, Lexa Arkansas at 11:00 a.m. Due to our Federal and State COVID-19 guidelines: during the Visitation - we will only allow individuals to view 10 at a time, at the Graveside Service - we will abide by the social distance standard of 6ft apart. Deandre Dewayne Green was born December 7, 1987 to Leslie Bates Wilson and Jerry Lee Green at Helena Hospital, Helena Arkansas. He departed this earthly life May 27, 2020 at Helena Regional Medical Center, Helena – West Helena Arkansas.

Deandre confessed a hope in Christ at an early age at Saint Mary #2, West Helena, Arkansas under the leadership of Reverend Will McKing. He later joined New Haven Missionary Baptist Church under the spiritual guidance of Reverend G.G. Brown. He continued his Christian journey under Reverend Dr. Rodney Corbin as his pastor.

Affectionately known as “Big Green,” he was a proud graduate of Central High School, Helena Arkansas Class of 2006. He furthered his education at the University of Arkansas – Pine Bluff, Pine Bluff Arkansas, and University of Arkansas – Phillips Community College, Helena Arkansas. Not a stranger to work, he held various jobs but tenured at Tyson Foods as an Over the Road Truck Driver.

Deandre is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother; Ethel Lee Bates, fraternal grandparents; Jessie and Mildred Green, and one stepdaughter; Cherrikesha Jones.

Deandre leaves to cherish his loving wife; Pamela Green whom he loved whole heartedly, parents; Leslie (Dion) Wilson, Jerry (Verna) Green both of Helena – West Helena AR, children; Tyler Ford, Bella Green, Bailee Green all of Little Rock AR, Sariah Winston, Kylon Green, Daniyah Green all of Oklahoma City OK, Ressie Jones of St Louis MO, Justyce Washington of Friars Pointe MS, Dekiyah Green of Clarksville TN, stepchildren; Kayla Jones, Ahmaud Jones, Chayse Jones all of Little Rock AR, siblings; Lashundra Bates, Shunwolisa Green, Capresha Green, Shaquille Green all of West Helena AR, a special aunt; Elizabeth Bates, a special uncle; Daron Bates, close friends; Deandre Smith, Derek Jackson, Tyrone Eaton, Tracy Gause, Cedric Edwards, Curtis Jackson, Jr., Demarcus Hill and a host of other uncles, aunts, two nieces, cousins and friends.
