Visitation will be held Friday, December 14, 2019 at Jackson Highley Funeral Home Chapel, West Helena, Arkansas from 4 to 6 p.m. Funeral service will be held Saturday, December 15, 2019 at Jackson – Highley Funeral Home Chapel, West Helena, Arkansas at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow immediately at Jackson Memorial Cemetery, Lexa Arkansas.
Mr. Wayne Anthony Washington, Sr. was born November 6, 1972 in Helena, Arkansas to Ed and Bertha Washington. He departed this life on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at his home. He is preceded in death by his mother; Bertha Washington, grandmother; Agnes Hudson.
Wayne accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior in 1993.
Professionally, Mr. Wayne worked for the State of Arkansas Correctional Facility for the past three years.
Mr. Wayne will always be remembered by his children; Wayne Anthony Washington, Jr of Minneapolis MN, Kendrick Jamal Washington of Greenville MS his father; Ed Washington of Helena AR, two brothers; Zachary (Angel) Washington, Edward Washington both of Jackson MS, two sisters; Wanda Washington, Wynosie Washington both Chicago IL, two grandchildren; Delaja Shanell Washington and Dewayne Anthony Washington.
