Visitation will be held Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Jackson - Highley Funeral Home Chapel, West Helena, Arkansas from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. He may be viewed via ZOOM from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Graveside Service will be held Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Jackson Memorial Cemetery, Lexa Arkansas. We will reconvene ZOOM at 11:00 a.m. for the graveside service. We will follow CDC guidelines:  mask, hand sanitizer, and the social distance standard of 6ft apart. Mr. Brundige's service may be viewed live through ZOOM. Isaiah Brundige was born on January 4, 1945 to the late Gennie L. Brundige.

Isaiah went to Macon County School in Alabama and later relocated to Detroit, Michigan, where he was educated in the Detroit School System. He was employed at Chrysler Ford Company in Detroit, Michigan.

Isaiah moved to East Chicago/Gary, Indiana in the 60s where he worked and retired from Inland Steel. He married Charlene Washington in Gary, Indiana and they later moved to Arkansas; they were blessed with fifteen wonderful years together.

Isaiah confessed his faith in Christ at an early age. He was a faithful member of the Faith Outreach Church until his health decline. Isaiah was a very loving person, always greeted everyone with a wonderful smile. He loved praising and worshiping the Lord.

Isaiah is preceded in death by his mother; Gennie L. Brundige, maternal grandparents; Anderson and Mariah Brundige, a sister; Joanna Thomas-Fluellen, several uncles, and aunts.

Isaiah leaves to treasure his legacy his wife; Charlene Washington-Brundige, sons; John (Linda) Washington, James (Mary) Washington, both of West Helena AR, Darrell (Michele) Yancey of Dallas TX, daughters; Mukalla Brundige of Gary IN, Lora Washington of Helena AR, a special aunt; Irene B. Wynn, special nieces; Shelia Fluellen Gibson of Detroit MI, Marie (Vincent) Jackson of Marana AZ, several grandchildren; great grandchildren; and a host of brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, family, and friends.
