Visitation will be held Friday, January 29, 2021 at Jackson - Highley Funeral Home Chapel, West Helena Arkansas from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, January 30, 2021 at the P.L.M. & D. District Center, Helena Arkansas at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow immediately at Jackson Memorial Cemetery, Lexa Arkansas. Due to our Federal and State COVID-19 guidelines: Due to our Federal and State COVID-19 guidelines: during the Visitation - we will only allow individuals to view 10 at a time. Funeral Service - Please allow time and patience for COVID-19 entry process to include: mask, hand sanitizer, temperature checks, and sign-in roster with name and phone number. We will admit 100 individuals with the proper wristband.  At the Cemetery - we will abide by the social distance standard of 6ft apart. Ms. Luckett's service may be viewed live through ZOOM. Eddie Mae Luckett was born on September 30, 1954 to the late Tommy Luckett, Sr. and Melissa Guy Luckett in Helena, Arkansas. Affectionately known as “Edna,” she received her Heavenly call on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at Baptist Health Medical Center, Little Rock Arkansas. She finished her earthly course and went home to be with her Heavenly Father.

Edna accepted Christ as her personal Savior and was baptized at an early age. She later united with New Life Baptist Church, Helena Arkansas where she remained faithful until her health declined and she relocated to Little Rock, Arkansas.

Edna was a kind and loving person. She loved to be around her family and friends. She was always available to help anyone who was in need. She loved to cook and would feed anyone who was hungry.

Edna was a mother, a sister, an aunt, and a dear friend.

Edna is preceded in death by her parents; Tommy and Melissa Luckett, Sr., brothers; Chester Luckett, Eddie Luckett, Coleman Luckett, sister; Shirley Jackson, grandchildren; Roger McKenny, Jr., Sharnice Wilson and a very special friend; Percy Hilliard, Sr.

Edna leaves to cherish her memories her children; Kangela (Mark) Wells, Denise (Dean) Sanders both of Little Rock AR, Roger (Nesha) McKenny, Sr., Tyrone (Ursula) Early both of Jacksonville FL, brothers; Johnnie Luckett, James Luckett, George Luckett, Tommy Luckett, Jr., sisters; Hester Mae Luckett, Willie Mae Luckett, Ruth Ann Luckett, grandchildren; Jukurious, Bobby “BJ”, Eduardo, Laviesha, Tykkia, Tyalliah, Tyrone Jr., Romeo, Rogdrick, Chawnette, Roginae, Reminyse, Rondre, great grandchildren; Kensley, Deneim, Delian, Carlee, Taniyah, Tangelo, and host of nephews, nieces and friends.
