Funeral Service will be held Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Jackson Highley Funeral Home Chapel, West Helena Arkansas at 2:00 p.m. Please allow time and patience for COVID-19 entry process to include: mask, hand sanitizer, temperature checks, and sign-in roster with name and phone number. Interment will follow immediately at New Zion Cemetery, West Helena, Arkansas. At the Cemetery - we will abide by the social distance standard of 6ft apart.
James Henry VanBuren was born December 6, 1926 in Trenton, Arkansas to Mayolla Bell. He departed his life on Thursday, November 5, 2020. He confessed to Christ at an early age, moved to Jonesboro in 2016.
He leaves to mourn his passing a daughter; Cassandra (Cubie) VanBuren Wilson, grandchildren; Cureka VanBuren, Danielle McKinney and Daniel VanBuren; eight great grandchildren; two step-grandchildren, Judy Phillips and Bobbie Cook; a host of nieces and nephews; Joyce VanBuren and Regina VanBuren of West Helena AR, Shirley VanBuren of Oaklawn CA, Moses VanBuren, Jr. of Dallas TX and Loria White of Memphis TN.
