Claudine was born June 29, 1942 in West Helena, Arkansas to Bernice (Hill) Lonzo and Willie Lonzo.
Claudine transition from her earthly home to her eternal heavenly home on February 14, 2018 at Baptist Memorial Hospital, in Memphis TN, with her loved ones at her side.

She confessed her belief in Jesus, her Lord and Savior at an early age. She was a proud Domestic Engineer, better known as a House Keeper. She loved her children dearly, but her passion was with her grand’s and great grand’s. Claudine loved nature and she was mesmerized by humming birds and green house plants.

Her attributes included being a devoted Christian, A Prayer Warrior, Sunday School Teacher and Care Giver to anyone that needed help. She also had an open food pantry and the meals would be already prepared for the “whosoever wills”. She loved her church and her church family. When feeling good, she was a jokester and enjoyed saying whatever she wanted to or asked whatever she wanted to know.

Claudine was preceded in death by her husband Phillip Payne; her parents; Willie and Bernice Lonzo; a brother Melvin Lonzo Sr., a sister Lois Lonzo Hilliard, a daughter Quinella Williams; two grandsons Anthony Sheard and Derrick Cannimore.
